Working with well known brands across a range of sectors we deliver cutting edge virtual reality environments in which users can chat and interact with each other in a natural manner.

This role would suit a candidate with the organisational skills and eye for detail of a perfectionist android from the future. Working alongside the management team you’ll be responsible for ensuring our growing office runs like a well oiled machine and every visitor has an experience to remember. Admin / PA experience is essential and a background in a tech sector company is useful as you’ll be helping to whip our processes into shape too. An interest in technology, virtual reality and the future is integral to our company culture so is a must for everybody in our company.

Job Role

  • Managing schedules of the management team
  • Office management and HR
  • Running social media channels for the business
  • Assisting the sales team in client acquisition processes
  • Assisting the development team with process documentation
  • Writing and copywriting content for website and blog posts
  • Attending client meetings and industry events
  • Assisting with marketing and event coordination

Unity3D / C# Developer – Virtual Reality Startup

This role would be perfect for someone as excited and passionate about creating virtual worlds as we are. Strong programming and problem solving abilities are essential, as is being just an all round awesome person to work with. Based in our Glasgow offices as part of a small but expanding engineering team the successful candidate will work on projects ranging from developing our core Eventual platform to delivering ground breaking VR projects to key clients (there may be a bit of AR from time to time as well). An interest in technology, virtual reality and the future is integral to our company culture so is a must for everybody in our company.

Job Requirements

  • Strong C# coding ability
  • 3D graphics skills
  • Proven experience with Unity3D, this is vital
  • AWS experience
  • Have worked in an Agile environment
  • VR experience an advantage (SteamVR, GoogleVR)
  • Ability to write robust, cross platform, reusable and maintainable code
  • Ability to conceptualise, present and execute ideas within a schedule
  • Creative spirit is essential
  • Experience designing and creating UI assets
  • A BSc Degree in relevant subjects, or good games development experience.
  • Knowledge of graphics optimisation

Public Relations / Press Executive – Virtual Reality

Eventual are a Glasgow based startup creating beautiful, bespoke shared virtual reality spaces, fully hosted and managed in the cloud. Working with clients across a range of sectors we deliver cutting edge virtual reality environments in which users can chat and interact with each other in a natural and lifelike manner.

This role would suit a graduate with excellent communication skills. Public relations experience is essential and a background in marketing is preferable. An interest in tech, VR and the future is also a must for everybody in our company.

Job Role

  • Media planning and research

  • Writing press releases

  • Management of media lists and contacts

  • Managing social media channels for the business

  • Providing support to marketing campaigns and content creation

  • Writing and copywriting content for website and blog posts

  • Ensuring positive press coverage in the local, national and tech media

  • Supporting client and networking events as and when required

  • Assisting marketing with event coordination

Person Specification:

  • Educated to degree level in PR, Journalism or Marketing

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant PR experience – this could be in-house or within a PR agency.

  • Experience of working with regional and national press and media

  • Digital PR, Outreach knowledge.

  • Demonstrable experience in management of social media campaigns and customer engagement

  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading ability

  • A self starter, able to plan and execute own work, but also willing to collaborate with the team as required.

  • Good time management skills, with the ability to juggle a number of priorities

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Results driven with a positive attitude.
